Advocates Circle
Advocates Circle is comprised of OAJ firms that are leaders in their communities on charitable, civic, and legal projects that improve the lives of all Ohioans. Advocates Circle meets regularly with key elected officials, academics, political reporters, and other leaders who shape the opinion on public policy in the state. We learn from them and they learn from us, hopefully walking away from our meetings with a better appreciation for what trial attorneys do and what it means to advocate for our clients and Ohioans in general. All Advocates Circle meetings are held in exclusive venues and serve as an opportunity to not only advocate on behalf of the trial attorney community, but also connect with fellow attorneys in a private environment. Past meetings have been held at the Walden Inn in Aurora, at the Gervasi Vineyard in North Canton, the Catawba Island Club in Port Clinton, and the Granville Inn in Granville. A membership in the Advocates Circle is about building relationships with the state’s leading trial attorneys and their firms, having private access to key decision makers in Ohio government, expanding your sphere of influence, and advocating for the cause of justice. All OAJ members are welcome to join Advocates Circle. This membership is a firm-level add-on.
