Summary
“Winter is coming.” That three-word statement resonates throughout the Game of Thrones series. It serves both as a reminder for the wary and a warning for the ignorant. Times may be good now, but they will get worse quickly when Winter arrives. Winter in the seven kingdoms meant the arrival of the White Walkers. Winter for plaintiff attorneys handling injury cases involving future medical expenses means the federal government and Liability Medicare Set-aside Arrangements (LMSAs).

Now that Medicare has begun rejecting certain reimbursement claims, directing medical providers to collect from a patient’s LMSA, will that patient be one of your former clients? Will that former client be calling you next? This program will cover the most recent changes coming from the feds on this complex issue and the ethical issues facing plaintiff lawyers today when it comes to LMSAs.

This presentation will provide clear steps for how to best advise your client and empower you to close a file with confidence that you will never receive that phone call from the former client.
