Summary
Using their recent $4.4 million nursing home verdict as an example, Ohio nursing home attorneys William Eadie and Michael A. Hill will show you how to use a nursing home’s own data submitted to Medicare to prove the systemic understaffing case. They will also provide critical information on the role of focus groups and voir dire in maximizing recovery in nursing home—and other—cases. Attorneys Eadie and Hill focus grouped the case five times before trial, twice on opening statement alone. They will share what they learned and how they used it at trial. Real world materials on focus groups, voir dire, and Medicare data will be provided.
